Geoff Metts
Geoff moved to Portland in 2000 and quickly worked his way into the music scene as a session guitarist and vocalist. His band Western Aerial wrote and recorded songs licensed to film and television including the NBA. The group garnered a rabid following in the Northwest through regular touring and opening for national acts including Alice In Chains, Incubus, Korn, Buckcherry, Supersuckers and Y&T.
Geoff teamed up with friends Dain and Mike to form MRC in 2013, taking a shared love of rock, blues and soul music forming it into a new sound. He continues to write and record and is active in the music scene as a musician and educator. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Oregon Music Hall Of Fame and has lobbied Congress for increased federal funding for music education in recent years.
